Hi
I am planning to upgrade my K750i Memory stick to 512 MB or 1 GB. Which type of memory stick will be compatible with K750i ? ( There are Memory Stick Pro Duo and memory Stick Pro Duo High speed from Sony and also other brands such us Sandisk, and Lexur are available) Any one can guide me ? Also it is heard that K750i has problems with large memory sticks, Is that true ? Any one has such experience ?

There is no known definite problem with using larger size memory sticks in K750. Where did you hear that?

As for the type and brand, all you mentioned would work in the phone. High speed ones won't give you much or any advantage at all if you are using it in the phone only. The data transfer rates of high speed sticks is better ofcourse but only when you are using to transfer data over USB 2.0 or using it in dedicated digital cameras.

I use a 1Gb Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo in a fetching shade of fluorescent lime green in my K750i. Works fine with my MP3's. The memory stick was sourced from www.expansys.com for £66 (though I notice the price has gone up since) and it is being sold specifically as a PSP compatible product. But don't let that put you off. You can't the the colour of the thing when it is trapped behind the rubber cover.

It is slow to transfer files across, but no slower than with the original Sony 64MB stick I got with the phone.

true, the phone doesnt take advantage of the high speed but you'd be suprised at which card is faster with a usb card reader.

Duo is the smaller card. its used in P-series, k750, PSP etc..
