hey guys im following all steps, turning phone off, waiting 20 seconds, holding the c key, then putting cable back into phone, nothing happens, phone just starts up and asks me for my pin num, an wont update, what am i doing wrong??

You need the USB Flash drivers installed. These can be downloaded off of the
website. When you hold down the 'c' key and plug in the USB cable, Windows will discover a new hardware device. Point Windows to the drivers you downloaded and all will be rosy and pink.
It took a while for me to find this out myself, so you're in good company.
