The New Revolutionary Samsung SPH-V7800 multimedia phone powered by ATI Imageon™ 2282

ATI’s Imageon™ 2282 media processor helps drive key features that set the SPH-V7800 apart from other phones, including a 5.2 megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom, a Xenon flash and high-fidelity audio and video recording and playback.

The SPH-V7800 phone is the most advanced on the market today, so it requires equally advanced media processing capabilities. With the Imageon 2282 inside, the SPH-V7800 is a high-resolution megapixel digital camera, a high-fidelity digital audio player and a digital camcorder with streaming video capabilities.

The Imageon 2282 has a flexible and programmable audio engine which enables new features such as CD-quality ring-tones along with high-quality stereo recording and playback in industry standard formats, including AMR, aacPlusTM, MIDI, MP3, Real Audio and WMA. The video engine enables digital video recording and playback in industry standard formats including 3GPP and 3GPP2, video streaming and video telephony. The Imageon 2282 also delivers incredible visual quality and display features along with ATI's PowerPlay™ power management technology that lowers power consumption at all levels of functionality extending battery life.

The phone is now shipping in Korea, where many of the world’s cutting-edge phones debut. As the SPH-V7800 is a CDMA-EVDO phone, it can work on any EVDO network. ATI’s Imageon chips are currently shipping in phones from leading handset manufacturers in Asia, Europe and NA under various wireless standards and generations (GSM/GPRS, EDGE, CDMA).

Don't know Brix25. It just looks damn huge and heavy... i wouldn't be suprised if it had a poor battery life.

I still love my K750i...
