After research about "Calling cards", I found that many new Sony Ericsson models have removed the useful "Calling cards" function, including S700, K600, K700, K750i, v600i, and v800.

Disappointed, and annoyed, and surprised. Strange enough why Sony Ericsson remove that useful feature!

What do you guys think?

Is there another simple way to send three long numbers one by one with only pressing 2 to 3 times?

i.e. alternative way of "Calling cards"? Is there any speed dialing combination can do that?

it allows you to do things like int'l long distance through a prepaid calling card. like one you would buy at the grocery store. that way you pay on a few cents for each int'l minute instead of a few dollars like most cell carriers (at least here in the US)

maybe SE decided to remove it because not that many people know use calling cards. Like me...I've never used one...but if i really had to make a whole bunch of calls to colombia..then i would

it is the same for many countries. In UK, the international students or someone need to make international calls, can call the London phone card company's local access number, and it will connect to international phones, like in China, only 1-3 pence per minute.

but the wrong decision from Sony Ericsson removes such a useful feature! damn!

Anyone knows an alternative way to store three numbers in the phone and let it dial one by one with several seconds gap? someone says make blank spaces between the numbers?

So, here's what I do:
1) Create an entry in your phonebook and name it after your Calling Card.
2) Add a number to it in the following format
[access number]p[language selection digit (1 - for English)]p[card's PIN]
To type "p" press and hold "*".
"p" is basically a pause.
3) Select this entry in your phone book and dial.
4) When it asks you to enter a phone number to dial simply type it or go to your phonebook, select a number, select "More" and "Send DTMF tones".

Thanks a lot! That is a great alternative! I will forgive Sony Ericsson then.

Since I normally only have two international numbers to dial, so I just add the "p" and one international number direct after the PIN for one contact entry. To create two long entries. Therefore don't need to find the DTMF as the second step.
