Which is the best free forum service. I would idearly like to be able to change the skin/theme, im not fussed but i would rather IPB.
Any surgestions?

There's a few remoteley hosted boards there to have a look at, Proboards is one of the most popular.
As for free board scripts, phpbb is the best in my opinion. YABB is also pretty popular and, if I remember correctly, is CGI based rather than PHP based.

Well goto
www.Esato.com. It allows you to change the skin without changing your own skin, if you do want to "change the skin" let me suggest a python's as it sheds it every fortnight and you get to see how you looked previously, the phrase- i hate my sign would work here - hey i thought i would get a free massage- what a rip off
