im planning to buy a nokia 6630. but im not sure if if plays mp3. its a great phone since you can fit a 512mb RS-MMS (DV). but some says mp3 played on nokia phones sounds like thin can? is it true? i like the phone, though... anyone owns a 6630 here? s700i can only fit up to 128mb. k750 can fit more, but i dont have much money for that phone...

its the best among all the rest nokias....very close to k700 though the EQ is not very efficient as it is in k700 but still the playback quality of 6630 is fairly good

I have a Nokia 6630 and is the best phone I have had out of about 60!!

You can play MP3 & aac and the quality is excellent. There is no EQ setting's like on 6230 but they do sod all anyway. Yes, you do get a Nokia headset in the sales package which is o.k. You can also play music through the handset speaker and it is surprisingly good. I have a DV 128 card (cost £19.99 from Vodafone retail) and have not seen a bigger one than this in shops but think you can get a 256 online...you DO have to use a DV though and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

A word of advice. Do not buy the phone on Vodafone as they have locked it to 3G and this causes alot of randomn restarts. I have the phone on Orange and the branding is tiny. Have used the phone for 2 months now and installed loads of apps etc and not had a single restart, hang or error...am well impressed!!

BTW...am surprised this hasn't been shunted off to other Manu's...mods must be having a busy day!

The K750 has a better speaker, camera and support a 1 gig+ mem card!! prices are dropping. SE prices drop faster (i think) than any other phone.

In Jakarta, Indonesia, current prices of the two phones are almost the same, even K750i is USD 10 cheaper than 6630 (6630 : USD 395 and K750i USD 385), dunno what the prices in your country. My assumption is, if you can afford the 6630 so does for K750.

get a "PowerMp3" app for s60, it has EQ and support .ogg and .mp3 files....although EQ works only in mp3 playback and the output is very good
