MacOs 10.4.2 / Isync 2.1

now that Isync 2.1 supports k750 and I still can't sync nor send files via bluettoth to phone . . mac recieves files , remote works , ie phone has access to mac but not mac to phone. Cant browse device nor send files , cant sync etc . . .

I'm just about to return it (the k750) but any insight anyone might have would be really appreciated.

ps. yes , I've searched these forums and all over the net and nothing has been able to solve this yet.

Pss. when I try to sync it , the phone tells me the mac wants to use it to access the internet , is that normal ?

Hmm.. I haven't had any problems copying files via BT to my phone.

However I did implement the k750 isync hack to work pre 2.1 (you can find it by searching the forums here).

If you open up BT file explorer can you see your phone?

yeah, I tried the hacks and none worked , When I try to browse device mac see's phone, phone asks If I want to let mac access files , then popup that says "the connection failed or closed" , I kindof look at this as aprimary problem and the isync problem as secondary , since obviously there is some weird bottleneck between my mac and k750 . . .

When I go into settings/bluetooth/my devices/services on k750 and select mac it says supported services are : Object push and file transfer

The services the mac see's enabled on k750 are : Dial-up Networking, Serial Port, HF Voice Gateway, HS Voice Gateway, OBEX Object Push, OBEX File Transfer, OBEX SyncML Client, OBEX IrMC Sync Server, Mouse & Keyboard

Can someone confirm if this is standard ?

thanx

The services it recognises look correct (I'm at work so can't check atm).

Which way round did you pair the devices? phone asking computer or other way?

try pairing them both ways. also can you push anything from the phone to the mac or mac to phone?

anything from phone to mac works . . .

believe me , I've paired them about a thousand times, both mac first and phone first , deleted preference files from mac and paired again etc . . .

I even reset all phone settings and paired again , nothing.

only thing left to do is reinstall tiger from scratch , and I'm not very enthusiastic about doing that.

something tells me this is not supposed to be this much work , since it seems to work fine for most . . . I'm thinking my phone is faulty in some way . .
