Right, SO I need to do this, can anyone give me a step by step guide of how to do it, I can't afford to spend hundred odd poounds on getting a brand new screen like most online places, but will this one do? All I care is that it works well, not bothered if it is refurbed or not.

Also what size screwdrivers do I need? I know they're crosshaired, but what size?

T6 usually - which they also sell - plus they have a link to show you how to fit the screen

And there are two T7 sized screws too so you'll need a T7 screwdriver too.

These are star-shaped screw heads, and (I think) are found under the battery, and under two removeable rubber covers on the back of the phone (NOT the two on the battery cover, they're about the same level as the camera lens & can be removed using something like a pin or small jeweller's screwdriver)

Going from memory (as just sold my P9! ) I think they are near the bottom of the phone, can't remember if they are on the front or the back though! You can tell which ones are T7 screws anyway as they have a bigger heard, plus they are longer, thus the need for a larger screwdriver

Ah cheers, everyone on the web says you don't need torx, just a small Phillips/crosshead.

Eg:

It's quite funny actually, even though I don't have the screen, I can still send texts and they get through fine, still make calls, and still use the media player as I know all the key sequences off by heart!

Obviously recieving texts is a bit of a problem though!

Are the torx ones the internal ones as shown on the link above?

Yes, you'll probably need a torx screwdriver to take some parts apart inside the phone in order to change the screen.

In my signature there is a link to a guide to dismantling a P910. This should be almost identical to a P900.

I use a jewlers screw driver, which is jsut a small flat head one, does the trick I find, on the p800 though you need a t6 i think it is
