ok, i dont have bat anymore so i decided to turn of my phone first since i had to contact someone later. then, when i powered it on, it only shows the sony ericson screen. thats all. so when i went home, i charged it. then the same thing happend. it wont boot up. huhu what should i do? i already have removed the memory card :/

i dont think the bat is the problem since i plugged it to charge. the red light goes on (sign of low bat right?) but it gets stuck on the sonyericsson logo

Mate, then i'm as clueless as you are... My Nokia did that once, but it was a matter of ensuring that the battery terminals and phones contact points were totally clean, etc. Hope you get this figured out soon. This message was posted from a Nokia

I had the same prob. after a fw update with seus. I had to send it in for repair. Try the recovery option via seus.

Flash it with the latest software from the SE site. If that doesn't work send it to ACR Logistics, SE's Postal Repair centre, they'll sort it out for you under the warranty.

mine did that too just recently, only logo SE came up even the lights didnt light up, what I did I just remove the battery for 12hrs or so, then when I turn it on and it did, hope this works it your p9

whats your firmware?
