i have CDA162005/5 is it possible to update it and change it to, say, CDA162005/8 or somethig else? if so how can it be done, via SEUS?

Yes you can change cda numbers. When I had my fw updated I got a different cda #. See 2 threads about cda numbers. use the search: get to know your cda
