> Very Poor signal with O2 On p800

Have just purchased a used p800 from ebay
Everything works ok
But when i use my 02 sim card
I get the emergency service only error most of the time
Have tried t-mobile sim and this has no problems
It cant be the O2 signal because this is fine in my area
on my t630
Is there a problem with the p800 Ariel
Would be gratefull for your thoughts on this thankyou.

The only thing I can think of is some kind of aerial or software problem, T-Mobile is on the 1800 GSM band, whilst O2 is on the 900 Mhz one - perhaps it works fine on the 1800 band but not the 900?
Try an Orange (1800 Mhz) or a Vodafone sim (900 Mhz) if you have access to them.
