Dear all,

If you werent aware before, i was one of the unlucky ones to buy the phone on 02 from day one and also the first to report the crash issue. I now find myself having problems with the update software.

I go through everything and check im doing it all properly but when I get the the final screen nothing happens. Its the screen that says remove usb cable from phone turn off phone for 20 seconds press C and re insert usb cable. Problem is, the update doesnt start after 15 seconds or 15 minutes !! what do i do?

cheers,

Benjam.

@benjam

I had this problem too, It got me really angry! I found out the answer anyway

Instead of following the Sony Ericsson instructions, by removing the cable from the phone, You have to remove the cable from the PC and leave the cable in the phone, wait the 20 seconds and hey presto, no more problems!

PS: Are you using a Dell PC?

@blumx

Sorry I didnt answer you in the previous thread, you have to update the latest version of Java if you are running into applet problems. Click the link to get the update,

I'm from Istanbul, about 900 kilometers from Alanya (maybe more i don't know ) Alanya is really good for holiday but Istanbul is the biggest city of Turkey, biggest and most beatiful (IMHO) . You must see if you don't.

I don't have relatives in Ireland but I wanna see there.

NB: Sorry for small off-topic chat
