Bookmark topic
I am trying to flash my k700i with Da Vinci, and after downloading the correct files and clicking "Flash", it tells me to "Shortly press power button".
I have tried briefly pressing the power button AND powering off the phone completely, but nothing happens. It keeps waiting for me the press the power button, even though I have done it.
Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

Your cable is either defective, or your program is not installed properly.

Have you set the right comm port with the client? Try changing the comm port to see if you can get the phone to respond.

The cable works fine with SEUS. The program is installed correctly (there's not really a way to install the program since its just an .exe file, so I don't know how I could not install it correctly).
I have tried different COM-ports.

Are you using a syncstation or a cable ?
Did you install the special Davinci drivers for the syncstation ?
Phone must be off when connected, then press the power button once when asked.
When you start the client, click the check available comports button, then dont select any of the comports beginning with COMx, but select the DSSx port in the buttom of the list. Also set the com port speed to 921600

Hi numb,
Thank you very much for your suggestions. It worked excellent now, thanks!
I don't know whether it was the DSS-25 patch from the Da Vinci website, or the fact that I before did not have my phone turned off when starting Da Vinci, but it worked now. Thanks.
