While watching pimp my ride uk (god westwoods presenting is bad) during the ad break jamster or a rip off company like them were advertising a download that would rid you of your operator logo (had a kitten on the phone).

How can they do that?

It's a software that removes the operator logo. It's been avaiable for quite some time here in Sweden.

Yeah, it's the same as those customised logos that you can text off for, they just send you a blank one effectively.

For what it's worth, even the relatively new Sagem myX6-2 gives you the option to remove/hide the operator logo...
