did a firmware update,now it wont restore my last backup!
when i did a restore it said "restore complete" yet nothing of my old system was on my phone!
not really a problem except mms,emails,wap settings gone and lost my contacts.
tried restoring my contacts.cdb and no go
guess ill have to do it manually!!!!
does any one know if there is a way to back up the phone mem to a mem stick?
(never had any problems on my nokia 6600)

You cant backup onto memory stick. I have never has a problem backing up my P910i (have done it three times). I always backup my contacts by using Outlook as well as the backup util. You can easily get your settings back by getting them sent from the SE website.

yes but i have 3 different sims(tesco uk,voda uk,movistar spain) so there were a lot of different settings!
its my contacts im most p***ed off about!
i have the dat file which is my contacts.cdb but winzip and winrar both wont recognize the file(i assume they are zips)
is there a way of restoring just this file?
