Hey all,

Got me P910i today.....but can't use it

I put 2 different make sim cards in it and the phone just says "enter lock code"
Device locked.

I have tried, 12324
1111
0000

but none work...any ideas?

Thanks

ps. I did use the search on here but found nothing of any help.

Guess you have to contact the phones former owner in order to get the right code. Maybe a hard reset could help as well? This message was posted from a Z600

Access the hidden service menu, up,*,down, down,*,down,* and check under information, SIM locks. this will show you what locks are on your device.

I wonder if it's locked to a certain network? Perhaps it's locked to Orange, Voda, etc. etc. and the previous owner has either not known or fogotten to tell you it needs unlocking for all networks.

Either that or it has a start up code for the phone, in which case you need to ask the previous owner what this code is as they were probably the ones that changed it.

Right the d00d sent me the working code

Now it says "wrong sim card" but allows me to run the p910i demo app :S

Lol...whats it mean by wrong sim?

I have tried a virgin mobile and a vodafone and they both have the same error.

How many times did you try the code? The only thing I can think of is if you've entered the wrong code a certain number of times the phone will lock itself and ask for a PUK code or something..... but it would usually actually ASK for that code, and not say 'incorrect sim card' I would've thought?

Dunno if that helps or not!

Havn't entered anything yet, it just says :

"Incorrect Sim Card"

Insert correct sim
