I have read threads where Vodafone have taken people for a ride by tel
ling them that they will be sending out a black K750i but then they recieved the Live branded Silver version!

Has anyone actually managed a non branded black version from Vodafone directly (NOT CPW but vodafone the company!)??

I feel they are taking me for a ride as they have told me they expect some in the next week or so? I am due for an upgrade and have been offered half price line rental for the year if i don't take the phone but I would rather take the K750i

Good luck, the only thing that i have ever been told by Vodafone is that they wil only ever ship the silver branded versions to you. Myself left Vodafone and went to Orange because they treated me appalingly on my last upgrade so now i am with orange, the firmwares no better but the customer service is.

In all though i would be highly suprised if you received a black vodafone K750i. Hope you get the outome you desire, regards

/ Chris

Well i know its not what you wanted to hear but its the truth and somehow i dont think that Vodafone will ever offer anyone an unbranded version of any phone.

Cheers Chris. That's exactly what I think but this guy sounded pretty confident of having some in soon.

I have an 02 contract which is an old contract I had through singlepoint and now that vodafone have taken over singlepoint they can't offer me the "live" handset as they know my 02 sim won't work with it!

Yep, strange but i have an 02 contract but an billed by Vodafone!

Now the biggest problem i face is that if i take a pac code from them i won't be able to goto to 02 again (non branded K750i ) as its already an 02 simcard.....

Very very confusing

Well it seems from this SE add http://www.sonyericsson.com/eye-for-beauty/ that Vodafone will ship both Silver and black versions to some countries.
