Hi all, I am ripping my hair out trying to find a way of getting a black unbranded (non of that vodafone live crap) handset off the Anytime 120 price plan on www.vodafone.co.uk.

Any ideas if they ship unbranded black phones?

Nope matey - there dont do Black Totally Unbranded phones, I have been with Vodafone for years, and hated that!

This is how I got around it?

My contract was ending next month on Vodafone, and I asked about the new K750i ? They said they were all silver with loads of branding which i didnt want- the salesman also went on to say that alot of them dont play MP3 Files.

That was it! I walked straight down to the link and took out another contract! On vodafone! they gave me the choice of the unbranded black one - or the dirty silver vodafone branded one. i bet you can guess what i picked - as soon as my old contract runs out - i wont be renewing it

Regards,

Doh!

Anyone recommend any good plans from high street outlets (link,cpw,phones4u)?

I don't want o2,as the signal is pants round ere. Vodafone or Orange would be my best bet!

Anything with 100 mins less and 100 texts + would do for £20, £25 max.

@sean:

Of course they play mp3s, again salesmen understanding goes south for the winter. What they won't do is play non DRM'd mp3's as ringtones. (Which to some people equates the phone not playing mp3s at all)

I've got a branded Voda K750i. I can play MP3 ringtones on mine. I didn't need to DRM them, either. Try and get one with the latest firmware - R1L002.
