Hey Everyone, Just got my t68 yesterday, and am very excited bout its features! I have a few questions, which the manual doesnt answer, so i thought id post here. I am using a T68m, Ipaq 3630 with a bluetooth sleeve, and a 3Com usb bluetooth adaptor for my PC. Now i was feeling all Gung Ho about Bluetooth but after few hours of trying i realised it isnt as "seemless" as the say it to be. I have read all the posts about the issues with the 3Com drivers and sotware, but my problem is not what everyone mentions. ITs a lil wierder! Well both the PC and the phone detect each other, and i pair with the PC on the phone etc, but in say about 30 seconds the pair dissappears! (this however doesnt happen with my IPAQ, which i will come to a little later.), and on the PC side, when ever a software requests for com3, which is the virtual bluetooth port, mpm sends the request to the bluetooth manager, which then asks me to select the device. but 30 seconds after i have clicked the phone to be the selection, it pops up again, and again, and again!!! anyone got any suggestions?
On the PPC front, the connections happen beautifully, it pairs and all, but i still havent got any "phone manager" software to work, i have tried Mphone2, IA Phone manager and sunnysoft GSM. none of them detect the phone.
Well my basic requirement is to sync my phone with Outlook, either on the PDA or on the PC, it doesnt matter, as the PDA and PC are synced any ways. can someone please help?
Thanks!
PS WOW that was a long post!

does simple SMS have phonebook sync, and the regular features of phone manager?

MPM uses plain serial ports, or virtual serial ports over USB and BT.
So you should enable a virtual serial port in MPM.
Maybe you can connect the serial port to the phone, before starting MPM?
Try to set the BT option on the phone to ON instead of automatic.
Some of the Ericsson programs take a little while (1-2min) to discover the phone using serial/usb cables.
Both try starting the phone first or the program first, some say it matters.
