Right people i need your expert advice.
O2 are pissing me off. First they refused to port over my old number (this may be dial-a-phones fault).
Now they are refusing to acknowledge part of my contract. I brought the 200Xnet and 50 txt for 12 months. I was told that i would have double min and txt for the first 3 months. Now they are telling me thats rubbish, and they will not honour that part of the deal. Am i within my rights to cancel my contract because of this? Think i will go back to vodafone, but of course only if they give me an untouched K750!!!
Thanks for listening.

Sounds like you got the O2 contract from either Car Phone Warehouse, or Phones 4 U?
O2 direct offer double mins and txt for 6 months, whereas the contracts thro' CPW or P4U are usually 3 months.
I suggest you get a copy of the offers that were on when you took out your contract, then you have some proof.

Threaten them with trading standards. It worked for me.
I took in my t610 (bout 2yrs ago) cos it wasn't working properly, wasn't insured either. They sent it to be fixed and when it came back they said it was liquid damaged. However when i sent it the phone was still useable, i got it back and it wouldn't switch on...I then found out they had signed some documents that I was meant to sign
To cut a long story short, I threatened them with trading standards and all of a sudden they were my new best friends.
Not only did they let me cancel my contract free of charge, I spoke to o2 head office and i got a Nokia 6230 about a month before release on a new contract.
