First off, WOT A fantastic forum. All great ppl on here, so friendly and helpful. My salute to u ppl, never realised that i could ever "stumble" on sth and then smile abt it, lol.

Anyway, is there anyway to make hard-ware modification on the P910a to make it support GSM900?? I needed to know it becos i bought a p910a but (despite false claims) my service provider basically uses GSM 900. WIth only a few "places" (in just ONE city) having GSM1800 support. And the rest of the providers in our country all operate on GSM900, with no plans of upgrading. SO i am in some hot soup now.

BUT, lesson learnt, don trust ppl in Bangladesh

The only way to do it is to change the whole main pcb. Its not worth it. Sell you P910a and get a P910i from ebay in europe.

thx for ur reply man, even though it makes me sad to know the reality. How much can i expect in the USA for a 2-day old P910a with a MF screen protector on it. I put the MF on it even b4 switching on the P910a for once.

thank u again

I think it is fair to expect somewhere in the the mid 300s for the phone, maybe more. There is a 5 month old one on ebay going for 400 right now, so keep your hopes up.
