I have tried to set up 2 pop3 email account on my P910i using the settings sent to my phone from the Sony Ericsson website. I am able to send emails but on both accounts i am unable to recieve any emails.

I phoned T-Mobile and they told me that they dont support this service as there is not enough people who would use it.

I did used to have a T-Mobile POP3 email email account until they dicontinued this service.

It seems ridiculous that they can sell a phone such as the P910i and not support the functions of the phone.

They tried to offer me their basic text message email service but i laughed at the support person for offering such a ridiculous alternative.

The only other service they offer is not compatible with anything but those Black Berry phones.

I love using my P910i and when i was able to use the T-Mobile Email account, it made keeping in touch with my colleagues relatives and girlfriend so much simpler.

I cant belive that not enough people would be interested in using POP3 email on there mobile device. T-Mobile needs to adjust there attitude or there going to lose at least one customer.

I don't understand I am on T-mobile UK Pop3 works fine (3 accounts) T-Mobile don't supply the e-mail details you do. All they supply is the GPRS settings.

maybe u were just unlucky and got a stupid representative on the phone (probably one who didn't know what he was talking about). the pop3 should work fine whether using dialup or GPRS because dialup should always work on any network and pop3 via GPRS works on those networks that have offer full internet GPRS (which t-mobile does). are you on PAYG or contract? contract should definately work but PAYG might not and they may have disabled the service on PAYG.

Have a look at this site for their settings, they worked for me when I was on T-mobile last year.
