I've got the bluetooth remote control working on my phone and PC by turning on the service from my PC but I can't turn the service on from my phone. I was just wondering if this possible...

I'm using WIDCOMM drivers.

In my K700, Remote Control is one of the options under the Bluetooth Menu, Once selected it has three options: Desktop, Media Player and Presenter. Choosing any of these three options inmediately starts it in the PC. I imagine it can't be all that different on the K750...

which phone? It should be fine with the K700. With the K750, you will need bluetooth drivers after version 4.1.0.700. There is a later version out but i've had a few problems with it so i am sticking with this version.

It's a K750.

I've gone to Remote Control on it but it comes up with "Cannot Connect. Check the device you are trying to connect to's settings" (well words to that effect) but there's no settings I can change on the PC for that service.

I'm not using the SE software though that came bundled with the phone. I'd rather not have it on my PC to be honest.

well as i said check which version of WIDCOMM you got. If its not one of the latest you cannot connect via your phone.

Where can I find the drivers? I've tried searching for ages and I'm coming back with nothing.

Yep fixed all the bluetooth functions that weren't working properly (just HID and Headset). Driver still seems a bit buggy but better than my old driver.
