I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I cant find an answer. I have just received a P910i today. I've been trying to link it to my PC, but so far I've had no joy. Unfortuneately it was supplied without the DSS-25, so all I have is my old DSS-20. I've tried using this but nothings happening. It recognises that there is a phone trying to connect, but thats it. I've tried un-installing and re-installing the software, that hasnt helped either. The only message i'm getting is USB COM3 Connecting, it just hangs on that. If anyone could give me a pointer, I would be grateful.

Cheers

Dan

if you can't connect then:
1. disconnect the DSS from the PC, reconnect it, and put the phone on. If this doesn't work then:
2. leave the dss connected, but reboot the computer, then put on your phone. If this doesn't work:
3. disconnect, the dss, reboot, reconnect, and put on the phone. If this doesn't work:
4. uninstall all the DSS drivers, reboot, reconect, reinstall the driver, put on the phone. (i.e. uninstall, and follow the first connection instructions!)

I very occasionally have issues connecting with the DSS too, but I find a reboot fixes it.

Cheers Mate, but I don't think that the 20 is compatible with the P910i, I'm just gonna have to buy the 25.

Thanks anyway
