Hey all,
I've recently been having issues synching my P910i with Lotus Notes. The ONE category I'm having issues with is the Calendar. If I turn off the calendar, everything else (To-Do list, Contacts, Email) synchs fine.

The problem I'm encountering is the Calendar takes forever to intialize, it will eventually start the synch process. But approx. 2 hours! later, the synch will fail.

Has anyone else encountered a problem like this will Lotus Notes? BTW, it's Notes 6.5

thanks

hey rainman... yup i have the same issue... synchs fine with contacts.. but WILL NOT synch calendar entries... during syn it appears to stall then continue. Have spoken to the SE helpdesk and the best they could offer is ensure all patches for Notes 6.5 have been installed (not easy to instigate in a corporate environment... and just exactly what patches anyway???) and use PC tool 3.1.1. What P1sses me on this is that 1 month ago i was running Notes 6.0 and it was fine (clean install on a brand new laptop).

If you look at the drop down in the options for the synch page you can select the source you are synching to... dunno if its co incidence.. but it only says Notes 5.0 and 6.0... perhaps there is a slight compatibility issue that SE are not aware of (CBA more likely)

Try entering the actual name of the destination contacts database (usually called names.nsf in your lotus notes directory) and then try synching. This once sorted out my synch problem. (Btw names.nsf is for calendar, contacts and tasks)

Actually names.nsf only contains the contacts. The mail database itself (e.g. user123.nsf) is the one that contains calendar, mail, and tasks (to-do items)

Try pointing your sync software to the mail database file for those items.
