Hi,
I've been syncing my P910i and Outlook 2000 for over a year with only occasional problems. Recently this stopped working. I investigated this in detail and have narrowed it down to the Tasks application: i.e. if I untick Tasks in Sync Station Settings, Calander, Contacts, notes, etc all sync without problems. The problem is the sync software just hangs and never makes any progress syncing the tasks (some 16 in my case)
In the past when I had problems I occasionally deleted the relevant file on the P910i before syncing and this sometimes worked: i.e. Delete C:DocumentsAgendaAgenda. I went looking for the equivalent file for Tasks and this is where it gets interesting. There is no C:DocumentsTodoTodo file, but if I use Sman - Task Manager - Options - Details it would suggest there should be!.
Somewhat confused, I created a Task on my phone which contained the text "abxghk492". I then did a backup of the phone and then extracted the backup to my PC using Backup Inspector. Using windows explorer, I searched the directory I extracted my backup into and searched for any file containing the string. To my surprise this file was C:DocumentsAgendaAgenda ! Does this mean that tasks are held in the Agenda file?
I'm still trying to get tasks to sync and have already tried copying all my outlook tasks to a different folder before deleting them and then copying them back (to create "fresh" entries) - didn't work. Has anybody out there any suggestions / comments?

Based on the dearth of replies, nobody is probably interested, but here for the record is the latest on this:
I investigated this further and confirmed that the data for all tasks is stored in the Agenda file. I proved this by deleting Agenda, and then creating tasks - using SMAN, I observed the Agenda file increase in size as I added test entries in.
So, armed with this information, I thought about this a little more. When my syncing "broke" I deleted all data sources on my P910 for Agenda, Notes, Contacts, etc. Now if Task data is stored in the Agenda file and if I deleted the Agenda file, maybe the syncing for tasks didn't know where to write the data?
To cut a long story short, this is the case. I deleted Agenda again and all tasks and then did a full sync of just tasks and Agenda - problem sorted.
The moral of the tale should be to not mess around with the P910 when having syncing problems - certainly in my case, I made the problem worse. But, having looked at a full sync go nowhere after 4 hours -Problem caused by removing the phone from the cradle to answer a call in the middle of a sync - I wonder what choice I have?
We've all seen lots of posts here and in other forums about syncing problems. What do other people do when this goes wrong. I admit my approach is a "technical: beat the ?rap out of it until it gives in" but at least it always works.
I should finish by saying my data volumes are not big:
212 contacts = 338K (c:systemdataContacts.cdb)
A Calender with 5534 entries = 860K (c:\documents\Agenda\Agenda)
A JOTTER with 41 entries = 40K (c:\documents\JOTTER\JOTTER)
16 tasks = An unknown part of the 860K Calendar/Agenda file
All comments, etc welcome. Come on guys!

Thanks for your research into this one. When I first got my P900 and tried to synch 50 tasks the synch process hung but it is too long ago now to remember the details. I gave up and reduced the number of tasks down to 10 - which works. However I do remmebr looking for where the tasks were filed - and now I know.
Cheers
