I bought a credit to update the old firmware on my K500i, and I had read that the latest firmware for this phone is R2AY004 (same as the K700i). But when I've checked the latest firmware available on the software's server (for the K500i) it says that it is R2AT003... and because it doesn't have the version with the Spanish language option (which I need), the next latest one is R2AE003... many months old already!
However, for the K700i it does have the R2AY004 firmware and also in the Spanish version (language pack EU1).
I noticed that also it says to use this firmware for the K700i, you have to first flash a file (called "transfrom cid29 to cid 26") to make it work.
My question is this: why can't I upgrade to the R2AY004 firware on my K500i with this program? ...I thought it used the same firmware as the K700i?

You can't upgrade to that firmware because they haven't made it available. Why not? Ask Davinci Team!

Okay, thanks. I have sent the Davinci team a message to ask why they don't have that firmware available yet for the K500i.
By the way, I can't use the SEUS service because I don't have a DSS-20/25 deskstand, and also I need to change the language pack on my phone.
