> Extracting SMS messages from S700i

I've got the datacable for the S700i but can see no way to extract SMS messages from the phone for archiving.
Can anyone suggest how I may do this?
Thanks,
Gepff

Couple of ways of doing it. 2 programs that you can do it with are Float's Mobile Agent and My Phone Explorer. Float's Mobile Agent has a few more features but seems to have gone really buggy. I recommend My Phone Explorer.
Use Google or the Search here and you'll find the website addresses.

Use the Float Mobile Agent.

Or try both and deside for yourself

After trying both, My Phone Explorer is so much simpler and quicker to use and is my personal choice, BUT it does lack some of the advanced features of FMA.

most likely you won't be able to recover those files, since you already
reformatted your hard drive. you may try doing an unreformat, but it's too technical and farfetched since reformatting and reinstalling windows would overwrite some of the previous data before reformat.
