Can anyone explain how to store copies of phone numbers on the sim card? The reason I ask is that I've discovered you can quick dial numbers on the sim (but not ones stored in the phone's memory) by dialing eg. 1 [Yes] or 25# [Yes]
This would be really useful as voice recognition doesn't work if there's any background noise and it takes ages to work your way to someone in the middle of the phone book (esp. when you have 340 numbers in it!) even when keying in the first letter.

but remember that you can't have as many numbers on the SIM as you can have in the phone. How many it can store depends on how big the SIM memory is, but usually it's 100 or 200.
How many your SIM can save can you see under
Phone Book -> Memory status

Hmm, nice try, but didn't quite work. Once you've got the first 90 numbers on the card, there's no way of moving them around so your most frequent numbers are in the first 10 slots. And believe it or not, the first 90 numbers in my phone book only get as far as 'D'!
Suppose I'll just have to fire up my old 7110

There ISway to setup positions. Go to position list, setup the desired position list, and after this copy to sim!
