Well thanks a lot.. I think i'll go in for the Nokia 3230.. it got features.. n its a new phone in the market...
I was wondering if it would be a wise decision to get the phone from singapore.. i know somebody who is going there shortly.. The phone in India costs Rs. 15000(USD 345).. would it be any cheaper in singapore.. and more importantly would i be able to get a gurantee that valid in india.. i wouldnt mind paying a few bucks extra back here in India if it wont be possible to get an international warranty from singapore.. i would not want to risk all 15000 for a bucks..
please advise..

here in bombay, you can get the 3230 with bill / warranty for Rs.16.5 grand. They do give a discount on handing in your old cell depending on the model, condition, etc.
Since you seem to be worried about servicing, etc. IMHO you shud go for a local retailer.
