basically i want part of a song as my ringtone, its mp3 and all and just want sum how to cut it at a certain point lets say 1 min in and then cut again at about 1 min 40 secs and use that section as a mp3,

can anybody do this and i can send you the mp3 and places to cut or is there any software available to do this

i have it, or you could get it off of www.nero.com Nero is cd/dvd burning software which i think is the best.

What I do is convert the mp3 into .wav then use windows sound recorder to chop it where I want then convert the bit I want back to MP3. It's really easy.

mp3 cut will do it in less than 60 second slots, but I reckon that its best to use nero.
