I have just got a new simcard for my nokia 6630! it is on 3 ! the only problem is i dont know the mobile number as the sim card came alone without a packet!! is there any way i can find out my mobile number?

Use the phone to call another, maybe a friends, phone and see which number that has callen him or her...

Or if you have Caller ID on your home phone...just call the number and see what pops up on Caller ID

Looks a bit like catch 22,
You cant get make a call to get the number and you cant contact 3 to activate the SIM because you dont know the number.How did the SIM come without any info ?
