@ dude_se How did you guess i would reply here Oh and by the way-you have 499 posts now

But yes referring to the original answer there was actually (and still might be) a way to change the message centre number to get free text messages but as yet the new number has not been leaked by anyone. I still have the old number but it doesn't work anymore Thats why i said it is now not possible because the major phone networks realised what was happening as they could monitor the amount of traffic (texts) being sent through that specific centre number.

Yeah as the other guy said this was an old way to get free text. I used it for a while but that was about 4 years ago. The networks found out and stopped it. There used to be loads of websites with the numbers listed. It worked on all networks. Now there is a new trick with o2 and their SIM cards. I am not too sure about it thou. There were loads of the on eBay for sale, they had to start with a specific prefix but o2 will discover this and crack down sometime. But for the moment loads of folk are enjoying This message was posted from a K750

This has also finished, there was a way on 07843 numbers which is what you are on about but it doesn't work anymore.

Well i can say that i am using an 07851 *** *** number and i am getting unlimited FREE:

>> GPRS (WAP & internet over BT for my laptop )
>> SMS
>> MMS
>> Email

All that from a sim card thats never been topped up and i only received it 4 weeks ago as a result of the free o2 online sims promotion, it took me 6hrs to get the settings right but i'm using about £10 per day of these free messages & GPRS.

So in regard's to Lnyx69's point your not completely correct there are still ways of accessing these services

Best regard's

@defensive: I thought I was getting free sms etc. then after 30 days I got a text from o2 sayin "I hope you enjoyed your first 30 days free credit, please top up" or something along the lines of that! Please keep me updated on whether this happens to you aswell after 30 days
