ANytime i connect my p910i to my pc it detects it but once i remove it from the synscstation cradle and put it back in the pc does not detect it again so i cant backup or restore. the phone connection thing shows connected but the phone icon does not show and when i click on the filemanager software thats shows the phone icon thats on the desktop it shows "not connected" the only way is to restart the pc and put it in again please does anyone have any ideas?

When placing it on the sync station, make sure it's unlocked.

If everything fails, use "SE Restarter", an app that restarts all SE services and applications without having to reboot.
I use it a lot and works pretty well!

never heard of that particular piece of software, but it seems like it would solve all of the re-connection problems.

I usually just unplug the sync-station then plug it back in. Usually solves the problem.

I had a similar problem which finally led to just my (black) link icon showing connected but no phone icon. I reset my phone and I am now working again. goodisor had a different sync problem and aslo reset his phone and is also sinc'ing again
