a Duo card is smaller than a normal MS Card. And there is no card reader yet, if i remember who can read duo cards (the small one) so thats why you need an adapter for reading this cards. They also are smaler than normal MS cards

its also handy if you want to use it in a Sony device that takes normal size memory sticks ie camera's pda's etc...

Yeah, I use my Sony Cybershot P200 to transfer movies etc to the MS duo for my P900. It's much, much faster than using bluetooth or the P900 dock.
Also, if you take pictures on a duo, you can view them on the screen of P9xx, which is probably much bigger then camera's screen.

Exactly what I do!
Question. Do you notice that your battery dies if you remove your duo pro from the P910? I left my card in my phone and my phone had gone from full charged to dead overnight!!!
