I've got a T610 and have noticed today that what looks like a text message sign has appeared in the top left hand corner of the screen next to the signal bar, except that this text sign also has a sort of w with a curly c around it, looks a bit like the @ sign. Not sure what this is.
At the same time, orange free text email alerts have stopped even though I know email is being received. Are the two related? If not, can I fix both?
Also, has anyone used Orange Synchronisation Companion? I've downloaded it but keep getting 'incorrect authentication' but definately have the username and password correct.
Please help. Thanks!

Interesting, I did email them as I thought it might be server problems (does seem to be somewhat sporadic) but unsuprisingly I've not had a response from them.
Anyone else got the same problem and know how to sort it?

Had something similar before.
Think it maybe a
wap push message or something of the kind.

Yeah, it's a wap push message. Any idea how to get rid of it?
Also, I've still got the Orange text alert problem.
