with the software you should be able to open the phone explorer and drag files onto the memory card no problem. If you are connected via BT then that counts as beaming. I've done it pleny of times.

A little of the topic but any 1 knows whats the code that d P900 asks 4 when some 1 beams a file 2 U ? Dont have much experince with bt , though I ve successfully beamed a lot of files to other blokias but when I tried receiving a file beamed from a 6600 my P900 asked 4 some security code. Thats cool. Protects Ure phone frm unwanted jacking of virus & stuff but have to know the code.

The passkey can be whatever you want it to be...so for eg...when you try to pair your phone with another device the same passkey needs to be entered for both devices for the pairing to be succesful....this is a one time process....now once they are paired, both devices will be able to communicate with each other without having to exchange passkeys

Neat. Now how/where do I set the passkey ? or do I have to set it at the time of pairing ?
I went to c/panel > others > Certificate manager , SecureTokens , IP Secuity manager coudnt find any place to set d passkey (Instead got 100s of other ?s I dont want to get into.) & d (?) help didnt help either so I guess this is the only place to get help.

You don't set it, it is just at the time of pairing, when your phone or computer asks for the passkey you can enter whatever you want, after you have pressed done the passkey prompt will appear on the other device (your phone or computer). All you have to do is enter the same passkey as you entered in the other device and the pairing is complete. Hope this helps
