In my previous thread i told everyone here tat my p910 touchscreen aint responding. With the quick replies of u all, i got mine repaired(had to pay $60) to get it repaired(grey market). Now its working great and the best thing is that he installed the latest firmware too.

Yes, P910i with R4A10 firmware and above is much much faster as compared to earlier firmware revisions. However, I still find that R4A10 is the most stable, unless SE give us some release notes to prove otherwise.

@kds....a firmware upgrade usually makes the phone seem faster initially.....irrespective of whether the firmware is old or thlatest....simply because the reflashing process flushes out all the unwanted files that may have been existing in the phone memory as a result of installation of apps before the flash.....BTW, have you noticed any significant improvements over R4A10

@ rao ji..Its indeed faster and by term faster i mean after installing all of my apps. Switching between apps is surprisingly smooth. Just like my pocket pc and palm.

@ mrao ji..getting a bit off topic can u pm me good list of freeware apps. I ve good knlge of palm and windows mobile PDAs..but i m really a bit less knowledgeable about the symbian os 7 which P910i uses.
