Hi everyone,

I got a problem with my K750i:

I´ve been on a working site and there were pretty bad weather conditions. When I came back home, I had to realize, that by K750i sounds really bad: Ringtones sound strange and I also can hardly understand people I´m talking with.

Since I want to leave for vacations in a few days, I´d rather like to try to fix this on my own instead of giving it away for repair... I think that probably some sand or something else is blocking the speaker.

Is there any way to dissassamble the phone? Is there a repair manual (PDF?) available? If not: Are there any instructions for doing this out there in the web? And last but not least: Can sony ericsson tell, that I opened it? I still got some guarantee left...

Thanks for yout help!
And please excuse my bad english

If you do, your warranty will be voided. The only thing you can do is to go back to the shop where you bought it and send it in for service.

I know, that my guarantee would be voided, but I´m just wondering if they would *find out* that I opened it. I´d send it in, but I´m worried that I wouldn´t get it back before my vacation...

Any ideas?

Find athread where they talk about changing fascia from k750 tp w800
theres lots of links there with pics about k750 dissassembly without damaging or marking the plastic.
use the right screwdrivers or youll deffinitely strip the screws
