Tried flashing my v800 to a z800i yesterday, and didn't go very smooth! In fact it went all wrong. Bought 2 credit's for the davinci server. First ten times got the message "block error" , then tried it on an other pc. After a few times it worked. At least the flash ran al the way to the end and finalization, only the phone won't work now. It won't turn on.
What went wrong? And more important how do you recover the phone now. Am not a technical person.
Help needed.

Have you tried contacting Davinci team about the problem? They are normally very good at helping people.

Yes, and i did contact davinci yesterday morning, but still no nothing. I know it hasn't been that long. But well, i want to do something. And as long as i don't know what to do, i feel helplesss. In the first place i want the help of davinci. But i do'nt know how long that will take, so i am seeking other options/sollutions in the mean time.

I make an educated guess and suggest you have a damaged EROM - infact the rom was totally erased and certificate left in the phone.....happenes when erasing blk's fail....
Get a recovery file from davinci download (they are there) flash it without finalization, then perform normal flash........

I tried it several times, but kept getting this.
When it finnaly did finish, the phone didn't work!
Oh and i can't use the davinci client anymore. For some reason, it says wrong username or password. I know i used up the two credits, but now i can't even download the recover file. Do i have to buy new credits? I al ready spent 2, and i got my nothing. Or shoot i wait for davinci to respond??

What files are you flashing to the phone?
Usually you would get block not accepted if
a) You are trying to flash CID29 files to a CID36 phone.
b) Your battery is not fully charged or is faulty.
c) You have a faulty flash chip.

most common fault is battery (not charged reasonable / faulty) If you are using DSS station insert charger in station, when client asks you to POWER ON THE PHONE, simply insert it in the DSS station, and it will boot witout need to push the button.
