I am pretty sure you cannot zoom in on any pictures that are on the phone with the k700, although you CAN zoom all the way up to 4x when TAKING a picture.

To me that is incredibly stupid. My gf has a 6230, a much older and inferior hone and can zoom in on pictures at the touch of a button to get a getter look at them while they are still on the phone, and uses it ALL the time.

So why cant they do this on the k700 when it can zoom when the camera is open, yet not on pictures that are on the phone?!?!?!?!

Its probably the most basic functionalty anyone could ever want when looking at a picture, zoom in and out (ESPECIALLY on a tiny screen), yet they let you EDIT the bluddy picture on the phone and you STILL cant zoom in and out!

its got autofocus, good quality 2mp camera, zooming when taking pictures, and yet lacks the basic, but most useful option of zooming in on pictures you have on the phone already!

You're right, the K700i cannot, and its not 2mp, but VGA.

The K750i can however, by selecting horizontal mode when viewing pictures.

Buy a K750i if you need that feature.

Thought the same thing - didn't realise you could zoom in horizontal mode, thanks for pointing it out!

ooh it seems theres another "ignorant" person then, i wonder how many more.

1: why make u turn the pics to horizontal before you can zoom? thats just stupid.

2: why is this not in the manual? I looked last night and saw nothing what so ever about zooming on pictures, yet it clearly mentions zooming on the cam.

@ Ewok, theres a difference between being an ignorant person, and showing ignorance. An ignorant person is someone who is rude or boorish. Having ignorance is simple being unaware of something.

1. Because pictures display better in landscape view, and that is how Cybershot cameras work.

2. It is in the manual AFAIK.
