Hi everyone,
Just suddenly one fine day my flip of the p910i has stopped to work.
The qwerty keyboard on the inside of the flip still works fine but the number keys on the outside do not work and nor do the other keys like OK, C etc.....
WHATS wrong???? Can anyone help pleaseeeee

Did you get the keypad in contact with water? If so, looks like you'll be purchasing a new keypad.

Have you restarted and still no good?
Taken out the battery for a while?
Do you know how to do a Master Reset? (Back everything up first if you choose this)
If you need a flip I'll sell mine - I never use it!

No i dont think my flip had any contact with water?? coz the qwerty keyboard still workds........
and yes i have restrted many times... i have also switched it off for one day and still the same problem.....i dont think a master reset would help as it seems to be a problem with the hardware not a software related issue....

ah it could be the wires on it, the 1st thing id try is remove the keypad and just brush the contacts gently, then put it back on, if that doesnt work id open up the keypad and check all the out side buttons are ok and no damage from anything, if that doesnt work id asume it were the ribbon connector in the keypad, in this case id buy a new keypad and fit that, and if that didnt work id have it looked at by someone such as myself lol

I think that's a good opportunity to try using your P910 without the flip.
I'm sure you will like it. Almost feels like you bought a new phone.

I took my flip off yesterday as it has been playing up for weeks. Phone seems great without the flip however I dropped it in the car park at the pub lastnight, it survived with battle scars! My fingers slipped as the phone was so much smaller!
After nearly killing it I'm still using it without the flip as I know prefer it, I can defo see what _LAU_ is saying when its like a whole new phone!
