Its been raining heavily since the last 48 hours and now i've noticed that my pc monitor and my tv are not starting up! Both are CRTs.. And for the last 24 hours, its been extremely humid....really humid! to be frank this weather is wierd! Can anyone confirm whether CRTs are affected by extreme humidity? Or is this just pure coincidence? God this rains!

Be it crt of tv or comp. only lightening affects it. Humidity has no part to play. This message was posted from a WAP device

No lightning here. And when i say humid, its really very extreme! Water droplets are all over the place. So why can't they form inside the monitor cabinet?

@786KBR

I can very well imagine that in Durban! Walking down the street it feels as if one is walking through a blanket of heat.
