Hi all. I am currently running a SE p910i, originally on Orange but now unlocked and on o2 genie. All is fine with wap and mms working as they should my problem is the orange homescreen when starting the internet app.........can this be removed or replaced with the o2 one???
Also have had a look at the SE update service and it seems that my oraniser version is old? but the version numbers do not make sense....my current ver is R4A10.....version listed on SE is R4A02 and i not too sure if this is the latest one???? i am a bit wary of updating because last time i ran it it put the locks back on my phone and i had to run it on orange again (when i purchased the phone it was unlocked)
Any help at all would be great

Is it R4A02 or R5A02?? R5A02 is the latest generic version...but it may be different for branded handsets

organiser CXC162041 R4A10
cda is CDA162006/5 R4A02
the version listed for organiser is R4A02.
Is there any way i can ensure i get the generic version???, my phone is not "unbranded"

@StreetG: Did the homepage on the Data Accounts give the option to change the page ?
I may be wrong.. But if its Branded then SEUS would recognise it as Orange. The R5 after the re release seems stable.
Instead of getting it 'unlocked' , can you fix

some Service Center guy to become pally with AND let them 'flash' it to Generic R5 FW. Else you would have to try your luck with DaVinci etc. Last I heard, its Credits were being sold at USD 7-8 a piece
