I am lucky to actually have both the P910i and the 7710. My thoughts are as,

P910i; great great phone, generally very robust and usable, you will be surprised how the flip keypad is so needed (if you txt at all, you'll soon grow very tired of the toush screen input on the 7710. Will do nearly everything you need of a business phone.

7710; it has a certain cool factor, they are very unusual, I have still to see another one used in the street. The widescreen is excellent, and the features are great, BUT, the text input is a pain the rear, as there is no T9, so if your used to txting on a normal phone, its a hassle. There are some forthcoming features that will make it unique though, such as the visual radio and the TV services.

As someone said the menus can at times be a little slugish, but its, really only at boot up, once the phone is fully booted up, it's fine.

I would say, for general usability the P910 is a safer bet, whilst if you want top be a bit unique and different the 7710 is a good choice.

Wat about web browsing without edge? Wont it be slow in p910? Does edge play a major factor while browsing?

p910i browsing isn't too slow... if you are only browsing... I would choose the p910i.. or wait for the next p-series...

I'd choose the P910i as a stop gap until the next major SE smartphone arrives.

Either that, or go for a Motorola A1010, they're dirt cheap and have that as a stop gap until the next SE phones arrive.

The 7710 i've never liked, the lack of a P series style flip would be an annoyance to me, as would be the terrible 1mp camera the 7710 has.
