Has anyone had this problem before? When I receive a txt message the notification will only stay on the screen for about 30 seconds then it will disappear. This isnt too bad a problem but when the small envelope does this in the top left of the screen after another 30 or so seconds it is. I can't tell if ive received one or not so i keep having to open up and go into messages every five minutes.

I recently installed the SE desktop and then removed it so im wondering if it has someting to do with it?

If anyone has any ideas please can they let me know.

Cheers.

Ive got the AOL mail alert "you've got mail" but unfortuantely if its in my jacket pocket, on my desk when i move away or anyhwere I cannot hear it then this is the problem I have as by the time i look at the flip closed screen there is nothing to indicate I have a message

That is not normal behaviour but I've never heard of the problem before.

Does re-installing SE Desktop resolve it?

I re-installed it last night thinking the same thing but it was too late to test it as i doubt my friends would have been impressed with me txting at 1 in the morning. I will get someone to txt me this morning and hopefully it will do the job.
