HI, YESTERDAY I BOUGHT FROM MY OPERATOR, HERE IN CHILE, THE NEW SEŽ W800i. LET ME TELL YOU SOME ISSUES THAT I FIND, THAT YOU MIGHT CONSIDER, BEFORE YOU EVEN CONSIDER TO BUY ONE.
WELL THE PRESENTATION IS QUITE GOOD, THE NEW USB CABLE, THE NEW HEADSETS, EVERYTHING, BUT THE ISSUE WAS WITH THE 512MB MEMORY STICK DUO PRO. FIRST, WHEN I OPEN THE PACKAGE AND THE PHONE, THE CARD WAS ALREADY INSIDE THE PHONE, AND LOOK THIS !!!!!, IT IS A SANDISK CHEAPER 512MB MEMORY STICK DUO PRO WITH SONGS AND OTHER STUFF ALREADY INSIDE THE CARD, IS´T SUPOSE TO BE BRAND NEW ?. QUESTION FOR YOU: IF I BUY A SONY ERICSSON PHONE, SHOULD´T CAME WITH THE ORIGINAL MEMORY STICK DUO PRO FROMMMMMMM SONYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I´M WAITING YOUR COMMENTS FOR THIS ISSUE. CONSIDER THIS AS A COMERCIAL FAILURE FROM SONY ERICSSON
ANYWAYS, THE PHONE IS CLOSE TO PERFECTION. THANKS.

Sandisk Duos are exactly the same and are made in the same factories as Sony.
Sony ones only cost more because they are branded with "Sony"!
The P910 also comes with a Sandisk PRO Duo.

its a smart choice for SE to not chose sony MSD.
so the card was already in it? and songs on it?
2 possible explanations.
1: some one tested it before he sold it.
2: there could be a sort of publicity stund with a singer/band

The W800i comes with a SanDisk stick, just as the the P910 also comes with SanDisk MS.
There really is no difference in the cards

If you have seen the pictures from the presentation of the W800i you can see the Sandisk cards are displayed. On several pictures you can clearly see that Sandisk is accompanied.

What exactly was on the Duo? It is unusual for it to be in the phone.
Was the box sealed, perhaps someone has had a go with it.

Are there any vendor properties in the song infos? e.g. files from SE usually say so in the info.
