nice work on ur site Mad_bob...
but i also wanna say that u should work on colours some more, they just seem some different to my eyes. maybe not easy to read or sth i dunno... but good design.

@lau - the resolutions you quote are right if you want to avoid stretch. Personally coz the screen is small, I like to fill it & don't mind a little stretch. People seem divided on whether they like full screen with a little stretch or keep the aspect ratio with black bars.
Smartmovie video is better, but I don't like how it handles audio. All that setting audio preroll time to get the video & audio to sync is a pain. Audio also sounds better to me with mp4 than avi using a low bitrate. Plus the mp4 player is free.

My bird also complained about the colours... I know they are bright but it was knocked up in a few hours and looked better in my head and when l finnished l couldnt be botherd to do it agan.
I am however in the middle of making a new one which will hopefully replace that one during september.

I found Nandub and Virtual Dub to be most effective (Myflix too). Maybe coz I've used it for two three years now..
@Lamont: mentioned Xvid codecs not working.. Isit the one which says Nic's Codecs.. Should work
Try finding Indeo's.. Or Gordian Knot Codec Pack
