I sent it to
for repairs. MyWorldPhone.com clearly states that they are not responsible after the 7th day. There is an one year warranty that SE USA does honour, but what good is it if the phone is not fixed?
well clearley if they cannot fix your phone, they have to send you a new 1 or something similar, id just wait and see if you hear from them..
did you get a hire phone or did you already have a spare as most ppl do?

Thankfully I had my old
T300. My T610 is currently on loan to my mom until her contract expires.

What a sh*tty service you have there in the US! You should complain about it directly to SE Global. If enough people do complain about it maybe things would change. ;-)

Are u serious? The phone isn't sold here, how can you expect the same service as one that is? Try taking an American phone to UK and I say good luck even getting it repaired at all. NA is the only place that offers a Best Effort Universal Support. Complaining won't help, as they are going beyond the stipulated warranty you have anyways.

cam'ron, surely you can read what was written. I am not expecting the same level of service as they would provide for a phone that was sold in the US. If that was the case then we're talking about only a 7-business day time frame.

The waiting game that you have been put through is now clearing up a bit. The parts are starting to come in quicker. The buffer will be coming in on the 22nd. The US repair centre has to wait for these things to be sent from Sweden, it isn't the repair centres fault. If they had the parts, they would use them.
PS. If anyone has a V800/Z800 or J series phone, don't send them in for repair in NA. They can't repair those. The V800/Z800 actually get sent to Swedish engineers.

cam'ron, see now if only the
USA reps could let me know exactly what you just mentioned, would that be asking for too much? It's easier being patient when one knows what is going on, just saying "Work In Progress" doesn't really help.
I guess in this day and age of information available all over, I've come to expect a modicum level of being kept in the loop.
@miss uk, my mom's not a gadget freak but once she gets the hang of it, she's good to go. Her contract expires in Sept. She'll most likely want to upgrade to a
phone, because she digs the UI.

I guess she'll either go for one of the flip phones or dare I say the K750i.
