i didnt say what was my problem, because i made a search and many people have problems with p910 synchronisation and all the time people say that it is a programm conflicting with p900's station.

I am not at my computer at work and thus i cannot say to you what exactly pops up. But it does not let me synhronise my mobile because it says that it needs to be backuped before. Then i try to back up but no luck...

I didnt go yet to ask , but if it does not synchronise there is no need now to do it.
By the way it is the first time i tried to install the station at my computers pc...
Thank anyway. I will try with the it of my work to solve it. I was so angry before that i didnt want to even try ...

P910i can synchronize with outlook with no problem at all!
I dont know what's wrong with your phone setting.
Mind to give a clearer description of your problems?

You are kidding!

p910i is my sixth (S)Ericsson, and there where _always_ problems with (S)E software for windows.
For my p910i:
- synchronisation software is unable to work correctly when Outlook is not a default mail client - it's official
- I can only make few (2-3) contacts synchronisations - later I've got a lot of duplicates in my p910i phone book
- cyclic items from my outlook callendar are missing in phone

Support says: we are unable to help!

So, the only feature I'm using is backup.

How about this. The blokia 9500/6680 can be syncronised/backed up, without even removing it from your poked ! Your pc/laptop must have bluetooth thou. (a 20 pound usb dongle will do) you even can set up the software to initiate a update every time you come within 10m or so of your pc/laptop without you even knowing it.On my old 7650 I only record a 'contact' once on either the cell,pc or laptop and just by walking around my work, home and cell have the same contacts.(all are bluetooth enabled) Call this BLOKIA convenience or technological advance ;-) This message was posted from a Nokia 7650

You also have to remember that while many people may have problems, there are even more people that don't.

You know there are many programs out there that are compatible with windows but not with linux...But they SAY that they are not with linux.

Well that is the case with p910. it says that we can synchronize with our computer, allthough not all can do it although it should have had been able to synchronise for everyone. i have the mobile for one reason to synch it with my outlook. It is better for me to have a 3300 if i cannot synchr it with my pc.

Why not just start looking if the cabel is right installed??

Right klick on My Computer (on your desktop) -> Options -> and than look for (hmm what was that word in english again ) for units?? and click on it.

Look if there is an yellow "?" on something. If it is so you have installed that cradle wrong.. Rightclick and update drivers.. Drivers can be found on the SE site or on the CD witch follow the phone.

I think that usability is the issue here, and going to court over this would not be a good idea =) Clearly the fault is not with the manufacturer, the P910i works excellent with MS Outlook.

Listen to this guy... he actually works for ....
